For he commandeth,
and raiseth the stormy wind,
Hail, snow and vapours;
stormy winds fulfilling his word.
Or
maketh the storm a calm.
Out of whose womb came the ice?
And the hoary frost of heaven,
Who hath gendered it?
He giveth snow like wool:
he scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes
which are blackish by reason of ice.
